Happy july 4th!

Hope everyone is having as good as a day as I am. Happy independence day everyone!!! Today I hosted a independence day bbq with my family we used this lemon chicken recipe I really enjoyed it! I strongly recommend it. I kept getting complements about it, that always gives me a good feeling. well loyal followers here is the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup fresh rosemary
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 6 (6 ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. In a food blender, thoroughly blend together the butter, rosemary, garlic, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Pour 1/3 of blended mixture into a small bowl for marinade. Cover remaining mixture, and set aside.
  2. Lightly sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place chicken breasts with the marinade mixture. Place chicken breasts on a plate, cover, and refrigerate 3 hours.
  3. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate. Pour half of the reserved rosemary and lemon mixture into a bowl for basting. Cover remaining mixture, and set aside for topping cooked chicken.
4.Grill chicken breasts 8 minutes(remember to flip!), with rosemary and lemon is a great mixture. Remove chicken from BBQ, and place two small scoops of the remaining mixture to give it that extra bite.

Hope you enjoy see you soon bloggers <3
